Halloween Weekend in Vienna
We have put together a lavish Halloween program for our trip to Vienna this coming autumn.
The Liechtenstein family have given us access to their city palace; the Benedictine abbey in Melk has arranged a concert for us; we have the ‘Oberes Belvedere’ museum to ourselves; and we will be treated to a show in the Casemates of Palais Coburg.

The Egyptologist, the Islam Expert and the Copt in Cairo
Please note! There are two places left for this trip. We arrange a similar tour to Cairo 31st March 2024 for a week.
For our trip to Cairo, an Egyptologist from the Ministry of Antiquity will be our guide to the Middle Kingdom, and Jakob Skovgaard-Petersen, professor at Copenhagen University and foremost Islam expert in Denmark, will reveal some of the many layers of Arabic culture.
A Coptic priest will open the door to a special crypt; we will have an evening at the opera; an exorcism in Old Cairo; and a reception at the Danish Ambassador’s residence. We will traverse both Garbage City and immoderate luxury. ...

Rome, the Eternal City, February 2024
For our first night in Rome, we have organized a private concert in a renaissance church. Saturday night we will enjoy a signature dinner made by Michelin-star chef, Luciano Monosilio, at Villa Agrippina.
Sunday a bus will take us to a large olive grove with a 2000-year-old olive tree.
On Sunday night, we have exclusive access to ‘Mercati di Traiano’, the Roman empire’s first and largest shopping mall.
Monday Accademia di Danimarca will greet us at the door. The same evening, we will be treated to a piano concert by Lang Lang.

Spring 2024 in Cairo
An Oxford-educated Egyptologist, working at the ‘Egyptian Ministry of Antiquity’ will take us back to the Middle Kingdom with access to areas closed to the public.
We’ll have one of our dinners in a private home within the first security parameter of the British Embassy. A professor from the American University will take us to Islamic Cairo.
Irrespective of the inauguration day of ‘The Grand Egyptian Museum’ - Tut Ank Amon’s new home - we will have access to at least parts of the museum.
We’ll visit the National Opera House in Cairo, attend a Coptic church ceremony, and have the manager of ‘Garbage City’ show us around the most peculiar part of Cairo. Continue reading about our compact program.
