Event in Detail
Spring 2024 in Cairo, 31st March – 7th April
An Egyptologist, graduated from Oxford University and working at the Egyptian ‘MInistŕy of Antiquity’ will bring us the Middle Kingdom and to the excavations sites closed to the public.
We eat at a private residence within the British Embassy’s area.
We will visit ‘The Grand Egyptian Museum’ – Tut Ankh Amons new abode – even if it hasn’t been inaugurated yet. There will be a night at the Opera. Our hired boat lands at a Saudi Arabian entity. We visit a coptic church, walk through the Islamic quarters of the city, have a peep at ‘The Garbage City’ and continue to the Al-Azhar park.
