Itinerary – day by day
Day-to-day overview
Below you will find a day-by-day summary of the trip to Tokyo in September 2025.
Unlike a physical product, a trip is only complete when the trip is over.
Changes will therefore occur and this is also desirable. From the time our trips are offered on the website to the trip itself, it usually takes 6 – 9 months. It would be quite unusual if an offer did not appear during that period that would be a clear improvement to the overall travel experience. However, significant changes to the overview below will not occur.
All of our trips are based on our guests wanting to join us on new adventures. This is your guarantee that we will strive, to the best of our ability, to ensure that you get a once in a lifetime experience – every time.
Tokyo, 11 – 21 (and 11 - 25) September 2025
Tokyo - Day 1. Thursday 11 September 2025
Tokyo - Day 2. Friday, September 12, 2025
We land at 07:55 Friday morning Japanese time at Haneda Airport. We are through passport and customs control at approximately 10:00. Our bus then takes us to our hotel, where we are at approximately 11:30.
We have access to our rooms from 15:00. There is the option of resting for a few hours in a “love hotel” nearby.
We go to a restaurant at 18:00 and stay awake for another few hours. This dinner is included in the price.
Tokyo - Day 3. Saturday, September 13, 2025
We automatically wake up very early on Saturday morning. At 4:30 we go to Toyosu Fish Market, the world’s largest, and experience the auction and the atmosphere.
We are back at the hotel at 9:30 and rest.
At 2:00 pm we go to Azabudai Hills, to the Manga gallery, honey tasting and lunch break. Then Tokyo Midtown, 21_21 design museum and National Art Center. We continue through Aoyama cemetery to the Nezu museum and show some very unique shops in the area.
At 7:00 pm we have our first Gala dinner at Roppongi Hills Club. This dinner is included in the price.
Tokyo - Day 4. Sunday, September 14, 2025
We start at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden.
The rest of the day is dedicated to the Japanese youth and pulse. We continue to the Harajuku district, walking along Cat Street and all the small surrounding streets, where we have our lunch.
We also experience the Meiji Shrine complex in the same area. A day’s experience in itself.
Tonight’s dinner will be eaten near our hotel. This dinner is at the guest’s expense. (We always choose restaurants with very reasonable prices when our guests pay for themselves).
Tokyo - day 5. Monday, September 15, 2025
We will go to Mount Fuji, its national park, surrounding lakes and villages.
This is a full day trip. We have our own bus.
We have not yet decided where we will have dinner tonight. Near Mount Fuji or in Tokyo itself?
This dinner is at the guest’s expense.
Tokyo - Day 6. Tuesday, September 16, 2025
The last remnants of jet lag are behind us. The journey now kicks into gear.
We go to Sumo wrestling and visit the Sumo “stables”. Continuing to Asakusa and the Sensoji shrine and the kitchen street. We have a Sake restaurant to ourselves. We have dinner in a very traditional Japanese restaurant in the Kanda district which is included in the price. The drinks are (almost) always between the guest and the restaurant.
The exception is our Whisky pairing dinner, as well as wines and Sake for our own events.
Tokyo - Day 7. Wednesday, September 17, 2025
In the morning we go to the stronghold of capitalism and get a tour of the Japanese stock exchange. Continue to the fashionable Ginza. On to The Imperial Gardens and the controversial Yasukuni Shrine.
In the evening we go to the Suntory Concert Hall. We have a late dinner in one of the restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the concert hall. This dinner is at the guest’s expense.
Tokyo - Day 8. Thursday, September 18, 2025
Tokyo - Day 9. Friday, September 19, 2025
We go on a boat trip in Tokyo Bay, where we have our own boat. We experience Tokyo’s most futuristic district, Ariake, not far from the Toyosu fish market.
We land near Shimbashi. We continue to the Shibuya area, the most hectic of all in Tokyo. Here we have our dinner. This dinner is included in the price. For those who dare, we go on to Azabu-Juban, where Japan’s… the world’s coolest cocktail bar is located.
Tokyo - Day 10. Saturday, September 20, 2025
You now have a good grasp of the city. Saturday is yours to explore on your own, although we will also offer a slightly more relaxed program.
In the evening we arrive at our Gala Dinner number 3. A dinner where the exquisite Kobe beef will be on the menu. This dinner is included in the price. The restaurant is located in the Roppongi district.
After this, the night is young. This applies to all evenings of the week.

A guided tour of Osaka will follow on Monday. A detailed program will be determined in March 2025.
Kyoto - Day 13 / Day 3. Tuesday, September 23, 2025
Only a half-hour train ride separates Osaka from Kyoto. Many tourists choose a day trip from Osaka, but we will have at least one night in Kyoto. (You are free to choose between one or two nights in Kyoto, or vice versa, one or two nights in Osaka).
The guided tours are scheduled for March 2025. We will have our dinner on Tuesday in Kyoto.

We all gather in Osaka for our last full day. After lunch we take the Shinkansen to Tokyo Central Station and on to an airport hotel at Haneda. We arrive at approximately 4:00 PM.
From here we can go on a late afternoon and evening excursion to Kawasaki, originally an industrial city where brutalism has been retained. The city is a must-see after dark.
We will have our dinner in the city itself.
